Disney Tron Legacy Toys - Hey there folks! This is yet another post from the mad toy blogger. Basically if you have been paying attention to the entertainment news lately, you would realise that there is a new movie coming up and it is by Disney too! Maybe you are expecting a kid movie but it is more complicated than that. Ever heard of Tron? That was one of the earlier movies by Disney long long ago. Now they have come up with the sequel by the name of Tron: Legacy. I guess this is the best article of my blog yet because my blog is about toys and movies. Tron: Legacy not only is a movie but there are many toys from the movie that you can check out.

Anyways let me talk a little about the movie first and also this new facebook page that I checked out. Tron Legacy is about this guy called Sam Flynn who is a 27-year-old, whose father mysteriously disappeared a long time ago. His father is Kevin Flynn one of the world’s leading video-game developer. If you are  a movie script genius it doesn’t take long to figure out that Kevin’s disappearance had something to do with his work. Well Sam tries to get to the bottom of things and investigates a strange signal sent from the old Flynn’s Arcade, which was set up by his father. Then he gets stuck in this a signal digital world which his father had created and was stuck in for the past 20 years. So in this movie you get to experience the journey of both father and son as they traverse this cyber universe. Not to forget their brushes with a ruthless villain who will stop at nothing to prevent their escape!

I also had the privilege to check out the Tron Legacy facebook page and play one of the cool games known as “Get on the Grid”. Checkout a screenshot of the game below! For your information there are also two other games known as “Tron Arena” and “Photo Booth”.

In gist, this game lets you upload your own photo and then creates a new movie with you starring as one of the individuals in the Tron universe. I know it sounds a bit silly but they actually even add in special effects such that you see your own mouth moving when you are talking. So it is pretty cool. In this picture you can probably see the face though it is not very clear. That said, I almost forgot about these Tron Legacy Disney toys! Check out the various Tron Legacy toys including action figures of Sam, vehicles in the movie such as the light cycle or even remote controlled Tron cars! You can also get Sam's Identity Disc and Light Disc if you intend to do some real roleplay instead of just uploading your photo. And there are also other authentic Tron Legacy toys that you can get too.

World’s Coolest Intern

Hey there!

This is crazy and out of this world but the reason I am blogging this topic is because I want to be the World's coolest intern! That is right because just today I received this email from Nuffnang saying that they are looking for the World's coolest intern! Not only will the winner be given an internship at Standard Chartered, which is one of the coolest banks around, the person will also be rewarded with $30,000 for 6 months work! Hell that is almost better than my pay for half a year! Now if only I just graduated because if I get this internship I would have to quit my current job, which is crazy!

So why should I be the coolest intern?

(a) Tweetdeck and Facebook are the first things to greet me in the morning and the last things I say good night to (hmmm where have I seen this sentence)

(b) I would love to be trained in social media and online engagement

(c) I got passion, a thirst for learning, and really fast thumbs to keep up with all the Tweeting and Facebooking (strange this sentence looks familiar too)

(d) I am raring to go and hope to be one of the 10 best entries and get an $80 cash prize. Hell I even want to be one of the first 50 entries to get $20! Of course I would rather work 6 months and get the $30k but I don't mind a $100 reward!!

(e) I will quit my job, just for this internship!

(f) I almost got the "Best Job in the World" the one where you become the Island Caretaker to explore the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland. They rejected me and said I was the world's coolest intern and wouldnt let me take that job

With so many reasons pointing to me being the world's coolest intern, there is no other person to turn to except me!

Zac Efron’s Latest Movie – Charlie St. Cloud

Well hello there again folks! Check out one of the latest movies from Hollywood where cutie pie Zac Efron of High School Muscial fame stars as a leading actor. If you are a big fan of Zac Efron, I am sure that you just cannot wait to catch this movie! This movie is titled "Charlie St. Cloud". Like many great movies these days, Charlie St. Cloud is based on a popular novel, by the name of "The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud".

Charlie St. Cloud is about a romantic story and Zac Efron stars as a young man named Charlie St. Cloud who survives an accident. He is an accomplished sailor who has the adoration of mother Claire and little brother Sam, as well as a college scholarship to Stanford. Unfortunately, both he and his brother were involved in an accident. While Charlie St. Cloud escaped death, his brother was not so fortunate. Before the accident, Charlie had promised that he would practise baseball with his brother everyday before he left for Stanford. Now after the accident, he seems to be stuck in a world where his brother is still alive, and he can't bear to leave this world due to the promise he made to his brother. his bright future is cut short when a tragedy strikes and takes his dreams with it. Things take a turn after his high-school classmate Tess returns home unexpectedly, and Charlie starts to fall in love with her. He then has to decide whether to let go of the past or to hang on to whatever is left of his brother.

Now I would like to answer this question: “Who would you like Charlie St. Cloud (Zac Efron) to choose – his brother or the girl he likes? And why?” Well the answer to this one is pretty obvious. Charlie should move on with his life. His brother is already dead and there is no use clinging to the past. Fate has brought him together with Tess and he should not throw that away just because he made a promise to his brother and he cannot forget his brother. So my advice to Charlie is this: Let go of the past and seize the future!

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice

Hello there folks! Once again welcome to my blog! Today's topic is about the upcoming movie The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. If you are a Jerry Bruckheimer fan, you just have to watch this film! For your info, Jerry Bruckheimer  is the guy who brought you movies such as the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, CSI, Prince of Persia, National Treasure and many other cool flicks! Now this new movie is about the adventures of a sorcerer and his hapless apprentice who are swept into the center of an ancient conflict between good and evil. Who better than Nicolas Cage to star in the film, having worked with both producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Jon Turteltaub. He stars as a master sorcerer named Balthazar in modern-day Manhattan trying to defend the city from his arch-nemesis, Maxim Horvath, played by Alfred Molina. Balthazar recruits Dave Stutler (played by Jay Baruchel) as his apprentise and teaches him the art of magic and together take down the bad guy.

If you are a sorcerer’s apprentice, what would you use your powers for? 

If you ask me, it would be quite impossible to be a sorcerer's apprentice in this day and age, but it would sure help you get ahead alot in life if you have got special powers. First of all, I would want to use my powers for good and not for evil. The powers should also not be used for monetary gain, though sometimes it can be nice to create wealth for the poor! But I guess the best is to use those powers to protect Earth from evil. Better still if the powers can be used to stop natural disasters or stop global warming! Anyways....

Know more about Cervical Cancer

Needless to say, Cervical cancer is about cancel of the cervix. I hope you guys know where the cervix is! The cervix (or neck of the uterus) is the lower, narrow portion of the uterus where it joins with the top end of the vagina. Most importantly, one should know the signs and symptoms of cervical cancer, which is what I wish to educate people here about. During the early stages of cervical cancer, you may not observe any signs or symptoms. However do take note if you observe the following: Vaginal bleeding, contact bleeding or (rarely) a vaginal mass may indicate the presence of malignancy. Moderate pain during sexual intercourse and vaginal discharge are also symptoms of cervical cancer.

Those who are more at risk include female smokers, women with multiple sex partners, women who have started having sex at a young age, say around 12 years old as well as women who have had sexually transmitted diseases, such as HIV, gonorrhea, chlamydia or syphillis. As long as you have been sexually active, you are actually more prone to be at risk of cervical cancer!

Do you also know that the Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a virus which is closely linked to cervical cancer? Nearly 70% of cases of cervical cancer involve HPV. Hence one prevention of cervical cancer is to get vaccinated against HPV. Then you can also practise safe sex by using condoms. Go for regular pap smear screening to detect cervical cancer. This is most important during the early stages when there are no signs and symptoms.

I want to watch Toy Story 3!

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my Bargain Toys Cheap Toys blog! For today's post, I would be writing about the upcoming movie Toy Story 3! Yes that is right, after a successful Toy Story and Toy Story 2, here comes Toys Story 3 and best of all there is the 3D Toy Story 3 version! Say hello to Woody, Buzz and your favourite gang of toy characters!

To give you some idea of the plot without revealing too much, we all know that the owner of the Toy Story toys, Andy, would grow up someday. In this third Toy Story instalment, Andy is preparing for college and a whole host of wacky and funny things happen to the toys. Before I get everybody more excited, perhaps we can check out the trailer below first:

If you ask me which Toy Story 3 characters do I like, I would have to say that my favourite would be Mr Potato Head. Mr Potato Head is a toy consisting of a plastic model of a potato. On this potato there are special structures that allow you to attach other plastic parts such as ears and eyes to make a face on the potato. Mr Potato head has not only appeared in Toy Story but also in Toy Story 2 with Mrs Potato Head. In Toy Story 3, be prepared to meet both Mr and Mrs Potato Head again.

If you have watched the above trailer, needless to say my favourite scene in the trailer is when Mr and Mrs Potato Head are seated together but their plastic parts such as their eyes hands and legs have all come off and got mixed up and they are trying hard to put themselves together again.

Besides the old characters, Toy Story 3 comes with plenty of new characters, one of my favourites of which is Ken. In the previous Toy Story movies, we have seen Barbie. It is great that she finally finds her other half. More interestingly, Ken seems to have a confused identity and thinks that he is a boy’s toy instead of a girl’s doll or even worse, a Barbie accessory.
